Darren McGavin has died. If A Christmas Story had been his only acting gig, it would have been enough to make him an entertainment legend. His portrayal of Carl Kolchak, in the short-lived but long-remembered Night Stalker, will assure that he is always fondly remembered by me.
My sympathies to his family, friends and fans.
