Dennis Weaver, R.I.P.

Now comes the news that Dennis Weaver has died.
I've enjoyed Mr. Weaver's work from Gunsmoke and Duel to Wildfire. When he suddenly disappeared from new episodes of Wildfire, I feared that his health may have been an issue, and so it was. Not to make it about me; but the deaths of so many of the TV stars of my youth, has got me feeling just a wee bit more aware of my age and mortality.


Rest in peace, Mr. Weaver. My sympathies to his family, fans and friends.
