This is not a happy prospect. I really hope it is a glitch that can be fixed and not a fatal error; although, the serious anomaly they speak of does not inspire a lot of hope on my part. There is still the Saturday landing of Opportunity to pin our hope on, but I was just getting attached to Spirit and don't want to lose the little guy. Of course, having 2 successful landings on Mars in a row, is going to be a miracle that we can only hope for. I will continue to transmit good wishes and high hope too the NASA team and their efforts.
