HBO has given the greenlight to a pilot for first book in George R.R. Martin's A Song Of Ice and Fire series.
Each season would cover one novel in the series. There is supposed to be 7 books in the series, but that is yet to be a reality since Martin has been moving at a glacial pace since the 3rd book. If he plans to be involved in the series, he may never finish the remaining books.
Let the fantasy casting begin.br>
