Penguin Porn

Recently, as I was perusing entries at Superfrankenstein, Tom Peyer's excellent blog, this entry led me to the CAP Movie Ministry and their review of March Of The Penguins.

Tom was amused by the reviewer's warnings regarding the brief penguin sex that occurs in the movie...

March of the Penguins also includes an instance of animal copulation. There is absolutely nothing lewd about it and no animal privates are seen, but it is still a sexual act that can create thinking in your adolescents.

I was also amused and disturbed that such a scene might make parents worry about what their kids might start thinking. What I found more disturbing was the quick highlights section that ran along the right margin of the review. This comment was the troubling one...

Sexual Immorality (S)

* animal copulation (non-sensuous
)

I was left wondering what sort of animal copulation the reviewer and his fellow christians might find to be sensuous. Eeeew!

I'm sure this site is of great assistance and comfort to parents that don't want their children (and themselves) subjected to the decadent excesses of sex, violence and secular humanism. It must also be helpful in keeping adolescents from thinking independently.

Plus it offers hours of bemused amusement for people like Tom and me.
