The Show Me Showdown

Initial Reactions...

Dumbya came out like Ron Popeil trying to sell his Bushit to the rubes. He was more chimp-like than ever; I knew he was going to throw the Bushit, but I was afraid he was going to throw his own feces. He was too manic to be effective. I will admit that he was better prepared this time and less repetitive.

In an effort to poke fun at his performance last week, Dumbya let loose with this zinger in his rebuttal to John Kerry...

That answer almost made me want to scowl.

This lame remark was met by silence from the audience.

Being a glutton for aggravation, I watched the post debate analysis on Micro Soft Network for Bush Cheney.

Remember that embarrassing moment when Dumbya took on Charlie Gibson and ignored the debate rules to rebut Kerry? Apparently, this really turned Pat Buchanan on. He practically swooned as he described how manly that behavior was. He was certain that all the NASCAR dads would eat that shit up. I'm almost sure that Pat had a woody.

Meanwhile, Chris Matthews was bemoaning the fact that Kerry was too bold and and forceful when confronting Dumbya. It seems that Chris thinks that the Preznit must be treated gently and respectful when someone is responding to his Bushit. Matthews is a putz.

Why does MSNBC have these post-debate polls if they are going to constantly apologize for the results when Kerry or Edwards are shown to have won. They drone on about how horribly unscientific the poll is and seem embarrassed with the results.

I noticed that haughty was used to describe Kerry by most of the Republican spinsters and the MSNBC sheep were quick to repeat it as instructed. I'm surprised that they didn't talk up his Frenchness for their administration masters.

Okay, so these remarks were more about MSNBC than the debate.

More Later.
