The amazingly prolific and highly talented, Oscar winning composer, Jerry Goldsmith died on Thursday. The prolific composer of TV and movie scores too numerous to mention was 75. He won an Oscar for the Omen, and his score for Star Trek: The Motion Picture was arguably the best thing about that movie.
