What's In A Name?

I inadvertently wiped out my template while looking through all the new stuff that blogger has added to their service. I managed to salvage almost everything but the old comments; although, I have ended up with 2 blogspot banner ads. If anyone can tell me how to rid myself of the extra one, I would be grateful. Since I was rebuilding the blog and was never happy with the name, I decided to rename the thing; please feel free to voice your opinion on the name change. You can also make fun of that photo that I added. I know you have all been giggling amongst yourselves since I put it up... go ahead let it all out.

Change that works for you is good, though I thought "Ether Ore" was a clever, apt blog title, and made use of a pun without automatically eliciting a groan. It captured the idea of conceptual nuggets, with an implicit (if perhaps, by definition, hidden and in need of refinement) value. "Abject Conjecture" isn't bad, either, as is stands as a minor caveat to let people know that you're not presuming to hold forth on topics as matters of "irrefutable" (an ugly word I'm tempted to write a little about from time to time) fact.

Photos, photos... I've so far avoided going that far, but I might break down and do it, too.

As for the double banner, aside from checking for duplicate code. Be sure to slide all the way over to the right, in case the new editing inadvertently slapped the same stretch of code onto the end of the first line, rather than plunk it down on a separate line.

I am fond of the Ether Ore monicker myself. I thought it a witty and original bit of punnery... until I found that I was not the first to come up with it. Since then, I have been seeking to come up with a name that was one of a kind... a hard task on the internet.

Abject Conjecture is a quick fix for my ego... until I find out that it isn't original either.

I still can't find the duplicte code. ARRRGH!
