Through A Glass Darkly

My wife and I had lunch at On The Border to celebrate Cinco de Mayo while we waited for her car to be repaired. After finding out the repairs would run about $525, we went to the photo studio to get our daughter's pictures done; that was another chunk of change.

After getting home and having a leisurely evening of doing nothing, my wife announced it had been a pretty good day in spite of the costs. I told her she was one of those annoying glass is half full(and probably rose colored) types. She asked me where I stood on that age old question.

I told her the glass was half empty and and what little was in it was urine.

She said I need an adjustment.
