Comic and science fiction legend, Julius Schwartz, died on Sunday, February 8th. This probably means little or nothing to many readers of this blog; but anyone whoever read a comic book or enjoyed a good SF story, has been touched by this amazing man's talent. Most modern super-heroes and comics in general are around today because of the work this man did in the 50's to reinvent to genre of the super-hero. That feat, alone, would be an amazing thing; but, toss in the fact that he sold Ray Bradbury's first professional work, and you've got a literary legend of 2 worlds. I think that title is one that Julie would be proud of... I know I am.
