Embryo Cloning Has Us Beside Ourselves With Worry.

South Korea scientists claim to have successfully cloned a human embryo and extracted stem cells from the matured embryo.

Yeah! It is sad that all the truly breathtaking advances in this area of science has to be done outside of the U.S. because we are scared of being smited by the almighty for being too uppity with our book learnin'.

I say let's clone a human (only if it can be done successfully) and get to the point of all that biblical hysteria. If our little clone is born and is just like us regular folk, then souls are found where they are needed. If not, then our little clone becomes the antiChrist and all those holier-than-thou critics can be secure in there pious superiority. I'm willing to take that chance, but only if it can be done with a certainty of success... and I am sure someone outside the U.S. is too. Maybe Dubya will follow the flock and insist on a Nucleus Proliferation Treaty to fight this impending doom. Just make sure he can pronounce nucleus before he makes his speech.
