Who gives a fuck!!

I usually refrain from too much profanity in blog posts and use the appropriate @#@$@$% to make thing more palatable for the general public.

Not this time. I have sit by and watched and listened to all of the coverage of the big news.... Vice President, Joe Biden used the f-word when telling the president that the passage of health care reform was "a big fucking deal".

Good god! It's not like he took to the microphone to proclaim the obvious. He leaned in to the president and made his observation. It just happened to be picked up by the ever-present microphones that surround the president.

Why is this considered another one of Biden's verbal gaffes? He's a grown man and was speaking to another grown man and coworker. His use of the f-bomb only serves to endear him to me even more... He's just one of the guys.

Give him a fucking break!

He could have been even more endearing and told the gathered press corp that the tea party is chock-full-of-fucknuts and the republican party could kiss his ass! The Dems pwned 'em.

Yeah, this is just as bad as that time Biden called a New York Times reporter a "major league asshole" and a microphone picked it up and Republicans were equally outraged at his vulgarity and lack of decorum as they are now.

Or am I thinking of something else?

No, I believe you're thinking of the time he told Senator Patrick Leahy to "go fuck yourself" on the senate floor, and the Republicans demanded an apology.

Oh, right. I'd mention that time Biden snarled at his wife, "at least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt!" and Republicans offended at his coarseness and misogyny immediately called for him to drop out of the Presidential race…but we only have eyewitness accounts that happened rather than recorded evidence, so it's not the same. But still, that potty-mouthed Biden!

As a person who has had no health care for the last 5 yrs. The health care bill IS a big fucking deal. If you have cancer & lose your health care (my husband turned 65) so we were both dropped no one will insure you.
