Still, not getting my hopes up...
Disney/Pixar seems to be interested in the rights to Edgar Rice Burroughs'John Carter Of Mars series. I would like to see a live-action version but would be more than pleased with an animated one. Please, someone, just make the damn movie!
Well, CGI has gotten advanced enough that they could actually make it look good. The humanoid Martians will have to wear a lot more than some leather straps and buckles, though.
However, I do demand quality of plot and faithfulness to the source.
Eh heh heh heh. ::shaking head:: Mark, let me take this opportunity to tell you how I've always admired your dry, subtle sense of humor.
"quality of plot". "faithfulness to the source". In the same context with a Hollywood adaptation of a book. Gawd, that's rich. You put Sam Clemens to shame, Mr. Gibson.

Not holding my breath on this one.

What are you, some sort of prude? I know, accidental peeks at Martian dangles might offend the average viewer.
I don't care if its animated, computer animated, live-action or sock puppets....I will watch it.

What can I say? I'm a dreamer.
It could happen!
