My car jettisoned its transmission onto the highway in its final suicide run against my best efforts to keep it going. I have declared defeat and will try to find it a final resting place today. Hopefully, I can find someone to haul it away for parts. This will mean that I must find work that will fit our new one-car lifestyle...It looks like supercenter may be the only available place to fit the bill.
I'll post again soon. Right now there's a big wave of depression coming and I gotta surf.
