You caught me Googling myself...

Everyone does it; there's no reason to be ashamed.

Actually, I didn't Google myself, just this blog. I like to remind myself that this blog is available to be read by more than the 4 or 5 people that stop by and comment. Since no lurkers revealed themselves last week, I needed reassurance.

What I found was really weird. My recent post regarding Judge Alito's wife crying during his confirmation hearings was mentioned (and linked to) by the New York Times and the Columbia Journalism Review in their coverage of blogger reaction to the hearings.

Weird but reassuring.
