ABC axes Alias
Alias will end its run in May. ABC decided to cancel the series because of declining ratings. Last season, the series had some of its best ratings on Wednesday (after Lost), but it couldn't seem to maintain the momentum on Thursday night. As they did with Night Stalker, the network decided to end the series rather than move it to another spot on the schedule and see what happened. If ABC doesn't feel that their shows deserve a chance, why should the viewers. At least I can watch my DVD sets.
In other TV news, CBS has cancelled Threshold. At least they did try moving it to another night...Of course, they axed it after only one episode on the new night.
