The Pentagon Probably Bought 'Em By The Gross

''I'm one of these simple people. The Bible is what it is -- I'm not trying to change it. God is right. We have to have faith in that."
--Clyde Bullock, Moron

Clyde Bullock is a simple man with a product, The Rod, designed for other simpletons. It was advertised as an ideal tool for child training. I'm sure it was a hit amongst all the born-again, Bush-backing bible-belters; maybe not amongst their children... at least not the same kind of hit. Unfortunately, Susan Lawrence, a Lutheran mother with a more complex mind, found Clyde's product advertisement, in Home School Digest, and was horrified. She started a national campaign that forced him to pull his child training tool off the market.

Read all about it here.

Better yet, go to SOMA: A Review Of Religion And Culture and read about it and many other interesting things.
