Round 3: Kicking AZ

I decided to watch the debate on MSNBC so that I could catch a glimpse of Chris Matthews continuing spiral downward. His shrill buffoonery is as entertaining as it is sad. He is still whining about how the general public picked Kerry as the winner of last week's debate. How could they!? People like him... the ones who pay attention to this stuff, as he put it, are mystified that the public would doubt their wise judgment. What a twit.

Kerry should have come out very first thing and offered to speed things along by invoking the name, Ted Kennedy, and following it with, liberal-liberal-liberal in a scary tone. This would help Dumbya appeal to his base and then allow them to skip right to the substantive issues.

Then there was that first question.

Why didn't Kerry ask Dumbya how he could be sure that the Canadian flu vaccine wouldn't kill not cure? That was the reason he didn't want the public turning to Canada for their prescription needs. We wouldn't want those slacker Canadians to pass off third world flu vaccine as their own.

Dick Cheney must have been so proud when his little man lied his ass off in response to Kerry pointing out that Dumbya had admitted that he really wasn't interested in where Osama Bin Laden was. Of course, the video clip of that statement will put that lie to rest. It went like this...

...And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban...


I was really hoping that Bob Schieffer was going to ask Dumbya to take off his jacket and spin for the camera to see if he was wired. That would have been a hoot.

I believe this was another win for Kerry. Although, I can't be sure because I didn't watch the post debate coverage so that Chris Matthews could tell me who I should believe the winner was.... that putz can kiss my ass.
