It appears that Mel Gibson's The Passion Of The Christ has beaten The Return Of The King with the biggest debut ever by a film opening on a Wednesday. I hope some of that cash gets donated to religious/charity organizations and that it includes some Jewish ones.
Maybe Mel should establish an organization, funded by the film's profits, that seeks to promote understanding and acceptance among the diverse religions of the world.
