Here is the latest report on the Spaulding Gray situation.
After reading about all of Spaulding's psychological problems, I'm trying to look at the children's living arrangement in a more understanding light... After his auto accident, his mental condition worsened. Maybe his condition was bad enough to merit the children living apart from him (if they weren't already)... Maybe his wife felt that he was at risk alone and chose to stay close by... I still haven't got it mentally digested enough to make a valid assessment and maybe never will. This is one of those situations that might only be understood if you lived it yourself, and I am so thankful that I did not. Family dynamics are a hard thing for outsiders to grasp and I guess my inability to do so does not mean it is a bad situation for those involved.
I just hope that Spaulding is safe and the family is healthy in all aspects.
The situation is odd but may be not be one of the rich and famous not being like me variety. Maybe all families seem weird to non-members.
