"the raucous give and take of American democracy"
Charles Kuralt
That pretty much sums of the Iowa Caucus of 2004; the day that Howard Dean realized he hadn't been anointed as the choice for the Democrats. Hopefully, this will take some of the air out of his air of superiority amongst his fellow dems. I am extremely happy that the wise Iowans decided to let the race for the nomination to go on rather that affirming any clear front runner. Congratulations to the Kerry and Edwards camps! I know it is too early for such talk, but I kind of like the idea of a John-John ticket... I won't assign positions on that ticket for the time being. Still, that might be a bit too whitebread for a too many voters... although it worked for Clinton/Gore. I wish the best of luck in all things to Dick Gephardt. As for my man, Kucinich... he is the guy that embodies most of my views, but my hopes are not high for him. He has said that he will continue the effort, and I will continue to back him... but I also need to look at the remaining candidates and plan for a pragmatic use of my vote.
