It's That Time Of Year...

The calendar is choked with the various holidays and observances that revolve around the winter solstice and end of the year. Whether you're Pagan or Christian or Jew or even Atheist, this time of year tends to transform your attitude and outlook. Oh, I know there are those chronic critics that have to whine about the excesses of the holidays or the rampant commercialism or this or that......HUMBUG! Celebrate the end of another year, good or bad, and look forward to another year to get things right, set things right or make new mistakes to learn from. CELEBRATE! Kwanzza, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Christmas or make up your own traditions of gratitude for good times past and hope for good times to come!

Don't burden yourselves with PC worries about offending someone by wishing them a joyous (insert observance here); and more importantly, don't take offense if someone reaches out to embrace you with good wishes from their observance! Be inclusive and tolerant. We can share our love and hope in spite of our different beliefs...Nay! Because of our different beliefs( or lack thereof)!

(Your Deity Here), bless us everyone!
