I know that I try to hide it in most of my posts, but I must admit that I cannot stand George W. Bush. Still, I have to say that his Iraq visit was a wonderful surprise for the troops and both countries. It was well orchestrated and a very grand thing for the President to do; he provided a great morale boost and made us all proud. I just hope that we don't see this visit wedged into any of his campaign ads; I want to believe that his motives were genuine and not an attempt to bolster his poll numbers and provide grist for the campaign mill.
